Police XI wins inaugural volleyball tie

UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: Police XI won the inaugural match beating Ramkot Club of the five-day long volleyball tournament at Majalta in district Udhampur under Civil Action Programme of the J&K Police.
The competition was declared open by Additional Superintendent of Police, Udhampur Benam Tosh. Speaking to the participants and other distinguished gathering of Sarpanchs, Panchs and locals, chief guest said that the event will provide the local talent a platform to excel.
He disclosed that more such events in the disciplines of cricket and volleyball will be organised by District Police at different places in an attempt to involve the youth in constructive activities.
The APS asked Police to deliver even handed justice with honesty, impartiality, uprightness and credibility so as to win more and more public confidence.
Prominent among the others present included Inspector Pardeep Gupta (SHO), Sarpanch Romesh Gupta, Master Samer Dev Singh, Kamal Singh, Sudha Singh, Vicky, Mast Ram, Suresh Kumar, Romesh Chander, Bindu and Romesh Chander.
