One more AK recovered at LoC

POONCH/MENDHAR, June 18: A day after recovering three AK 47 rifles on Line of Control (LoC) in Sawjian, army today recovered one more AK 47 rifle, magazines and ammunition rounds from KP-2 Post in Mandi tehsil of Poonch district.
Official sources said that troops of 104 Engineering and 25 RR today launched search operation in Sawjian sector, at-least 1000 meters ahead of KP-2 Post towards Pakistan. Troops recovered one AK 47 Rile without magazine and a butt, 20 magazines, 600 rounds, 2 bags, 1 bandage pack from the bushes.
After getting information, senior army officers reached the spot and inspected the site.
Sources in the army said that it may be possible that some intruders wanted to infiltrate to this side but feeling presence of security personnel they might have returned. A massive search operation has been launched in the area, he added.
It was reliably learnt that yesterday troops recovered three AK magazines in the same area.
