TSN bags Reasi Tennis Ball title

REASI, May 24: Trikuta Shiksha Niketan (TSN) clinched the inter-school district level under-17 boys' Tennis Ball Cricket title beating Higher Secondary School (HSS) Salal by one run in a closely contested final at General Zorawar Sports Stadium, here under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
Earlier, batting first, TSN set a target of 79 runs in allotted eight overs. Sushil Thakur played fine innings of 27 runs and remained highest scorer. In reply, HSS Salal fought well but could not match the opponent total and fell short of one run to the target thereby lost the game. Amaqndeep Singh of Salal played brilliant knock of 41 runs but could not guide his side to victory.
The event was officiated by the technical penal comprising Pardeep Nag, Kuldeep Raj, Opinder Pal, Avainash Kumar, Jagdev Singh, Rahul Bakshi and Arun Dev Singh.
