Peaks XI defeats GNN Club in 4th Sant Gurbaksh Singh Hockey tourney

JAMMU, Feb 22: Peaks XI defeated GNN Hockey Club Nanak Nagar by 2-1 on the 3rd day of the 4th Sant Gurbaksh Singh (Danna) Memorial Hoc key Tournament 2017 organised by SPDC Trust Guru Nanak Nagar under the aegis of Hockey J&K.
For Peak XI, first goal was scored by Gurminder Singh in 28th minute. The second goal was scored by Gurminder Singh in the 50th minute.
For GNN Club alone goal was scored by Jagjeet Singh in 60th minute.
In other match Banda Singh Bahadur Poonch Club defeated Ajit Club Gole Gujaral. Rakshit, Kaka, and Suresh have scored one goal each while Gurjot Singh scored two goals.
In the third match Power House Poonch defeated Pathankot XI by 5-1. MBS Simbal Camp defeated Khalsa Club by 4-1.
The matches were officiated by Iqbal Singh, Jagjeet Singh, Joginder Singh, Karanjit Singh, Manjeet Singh, Senapati, Mukesh Kumar & Satvir Singh (Tournament Director)
