CM’s double standards

Dear Editor,
Self praise and simultaneous glorification are buzz words of every inept and failed ruling dispensation. So the present union and state governments are no exceptions. Both regimes are bent upon sparing no effort in a bid to retain power for next term by hook or by crook. Chief Minister on the one hand is at logger heads with coalition partner and on the other is making all out efforts to contest upcoming elections jointly with Congress. He also wants to join hands with Hurriyat(M) Chairman. What all this reflects is easy to imagine and guess. He in the same breath predicts retaining power because of his so called good performance. One cannot willingly befool oneself and the people too cannot be swayed by such propositions.
