Semis position cleared in JU Inter Deptt Volleyball tourney

JAMMU, Apr 29: Semifinal stage has been set up in the ongoing Inter-Deptt. Volleyball tournaments 2013-14 held at University ground and Gymnasium hall University of Jammu.
The tournament is organised under the overall Supervision of Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, Jammu
In the first match of Volleyball (Men): Mathematics Department beat S.H.T.M by 2-0 Sets.(25-13,25-17)
In the second match: Physical Education beat law School by 2-0 sets. (25-13,25-23)
Carom (Women): Mathematics Department beat M.C.A. Department by 2-0
Neetu Devi beat Sonam. Heena beat Akshma
Table Tennis (Men ). The Law School beat Economics Department by 3-0.
Anurag beat Moninder by 11-8,11-7 ; Abhinav beat Rajesh Singh by 11-2,11-3; Karman beat Sakti by 11-2,11-6.
S.H.T.M Department beat Mathematics Department by 3-0. Shubham Gandral beat Gourav Prashar by 11-4,14-12; Shaukat Ali beat Mukesh Sharma by 14-12,4-11,11-8; Wasim Ahmad beat Samandeep Singh by 11-4,11-6.
The matches were officiated by Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid , Gagan Kumar, Vikas Karlopia. Others present at the venue were P.D.Singh, Jai Bharat and Nisha Sharma.
The tournament is organised by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, university of Jammu, Jammu.
