Even peaceful-demonstrators must not be allowed to disturb normal public-life indefinitely

Dear Editor,
Traffic-movement on road-number 13A between Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj in New Delhi is closed since 16.12.2019 after violent protests in the area and its surroundings after violent anti-CAA protests in the area including at Jamia Milia University. Some protestors are on indefinite sit-up (dharna) blocking the important link-road connecting Delhi and Noida through this route. Delhi Police instead of eviction of area from the protestors, is said to have put road-blocks as a precautionary measure causing great inconvenience to residents of the area including school-children who now have to take much bigger route to reach the destination.
Residents of the area ultimately had to protest against such indefinite road-blockade by anti-CAA protestors on 12.01.2020. The area must be immediately freed from the protestors for smooth traffic-flow between Delhi and Noida through this route.
