SRINAGAR, Nov 20: National Lok Adalats will be held on December 14 to amicably resolve cases of different nature in Kashmir valley, an official said on Wednesday.
He said as per the Chairman District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal, a National Lok Adalat is scheduled to be held on December 14, 2019 at District Court Complex Ganderbal/Munsiff Court Complex Kangan.
“The litigants whose cases are pending in the different courts of district Ganderbal and are interested to settle their cases in the Lok Adalat are directed to approach the office of District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal/Tehsil Legal Services Kangan by or before December 7, 2019 for amicable settlement,” he said.
As per the Chairman District Legal Services Authority Shopian, a National Lok Adalat will be held on December 14, 2019 in the premises of District Court Complex Shopian. “The cases pertaining to criminal compoundable offences, NI Act cases under section 138, Bank recovery cases, MACT cases, matrimonial disputes, labour disputes, and civil cases etc which are expected to be settled through amicable settlement will be taken up in the National Lok Adalat, he said.
He said the concerned are asked to submit the list of cases to be taken up for settlement to the concerned authority by or before December 7, 2019.
He said a National Lok Adalat is being organized at District Court Complex Budgam on December 14, wherein cases pertaining to motor accident claims, bank recovery, electricity dues, criminal compoundable offences, traffic challans and public utility services shall be taken up for adjudication.
“Anybody interested to settle his/her claim/case shall approach the office of the Chairman DLSA Budgam by or before December 6, 2019,” he said.
