CBI team arrests Javaid

SRINAGAR, Oct 16: A CBI team from Jammu arrested senior separatist leader Javaid Ahmed Mir from his Srinagar residence.
Reports said sleuths from Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) landed in Srinagar from Jammu and with local assistance arrested Javaid Ahmed Mir from his residence.
Mir was taken to Jammu in connection with a previous case lodged against him by the agency.
