ABVP CUJ unit celebrated Teachers' Day

JAMMU, Sep 5: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Central University of Jammu unit today on the eve of Teachers' Day organised a program based on the theme Role of Teachers in Nation Building.
Deepak Pathania, Dean Students Welfare CUJ and Dr. Vivek Kumar, President Swami Vivekananda Chair remained present as Chief guest and Guest of Honour on that ocassion. ABVP Jammu Kashmir State President Dr. Permendr Singh was also present as Organisational speaker.
The program started with the lightening of lamp and followed by group song performed by students. In his address Deepak Pathania spoke on the relation of Teacher and Student. He said that relation of Teacher and Student is a strong and holy relation. He laid emphasis on the fact that how dialogue is very important between students and teachers. Dr. Vivek Kumar in his address remembered the contribution of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Savatri Bhai Phule and others. He talked about great gurus of the past that India had like Aryabhatta and many like him. He also said that despite swami Vivekananda was not a teacher but still he had the qualities of one and he is a role model for many for the same reasons.
Dr. Permendra Singh spoke on the Role of Teacher in Nation Building. He said that the role of Teacher is most important in Nation Building, teachers are the one to shape students in the best way they can. He also remembered Dr. S Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.
ABVP Jammu Kashmir State Secretary Deepak Gupta and State Organising Secretary Jeet Singh was the special guest on that ocassion. ABVP CUJ Unit President Mukesh Manhas, Secretary Muskaan Anand, Media incharge Shubham Raina, social media incharge Aakash Verma, Sakshi Sharma, Akshi, Sudhanshu, Kanav, Rajneesh, Anubuav, Himanshu all other members of team also remained present on the ocassion.
