Girls Inter-School Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball competitions organized

UDHAMPUR, Aug 23: The District Level Inter-School competition for Under-19 Girls in the disciplines of Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball and Tug of War were conducted at Subash Stadium, Udhampur.
96 girls drawn from 14 Government and Private Institutions of the district took part in the trials/competitions. S. Swarn Singh, DYSSO Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion, who while speaking advised the young sportspersons to participate in sports events with zeal and zest to achieve physical and mental fitness.
The trials were conducted under the overall supervision of DYSSO Udhampur. The selected players will participate in the Divisional Level Inter District competitions later on.
The trials/competitions were conducted by Raj Kumar, Rishi Kumar, Rakesh Sahwney, Sunil Khajuria, Raman Gupta, Pushap Kumar, Kuldip Kumar, Manik Nargotra and Bikram Singh. Santosh Kumari, ZPEO Udhampur and Satish Kumar, ZPEO Babey, besides Jaswinder Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Jatin Sethi, Kanchan Kumari, Anupama Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Somdev, Raman Gupta, Bandana Sharma, Asha, Meenakshi, Pallavi Magotra and Kranti were also present on the occasion.
