Policy for return, rehabilitation of KPs in process: Guv

SRINAGAR, July 19: Governor Satya Pal Malik today said the state government and centre are in the process of framing a policy for return and rehabilitation of migrant Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) in Kashmir.
He was briefly talking to media persons on the sidelines of a function at SKICC here.
Asked about the details of the policy, governor said the policy is being formulated and more details will emerge soon.
Earlier, Malik flagging off the electric buses for Srinagar. He described the launch of electric buses as a good step and said the move will change the face of the town.
He said the hoteliers and houseboat owners were dumping sewage into Dal Lake.
Governor threatened to cancel the licenses of hoteliers and houseboat owners in case they fail to install Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
