Another Indian trader returns truck of herbs to PAK

Goods worth Rs 13 lakhs traded at Chakkan Da Bagh
POONCH, Jul 24: The good worth Rs 13 lakhs were traded through Chakkan Da Bagh in Poonch district as a part of Cross LoC trade Wednesday while one more Indian trader refused to accept a truck loaded with herbs, which he alleged, he never asked his counterpart in Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PAK) to dispatch.
Official reports said that goods worth Rs 13,44,000 were traded in six trucks between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PAK) along Line of Control.
They stated that Indian traders dispatched goods in four trucks carrying Kernil and bananas worth Rs 9,24,000 to their PAK counterparts while two trucks came from PAK side carrying potatoes, almonds and herbs worth Rs 42,00,000.
Official sources said, “However, R R Trader from Jammu refused to accept a truck, bearing registration No TKR 853 dispatched by Semi & Sameer Trader Hazeera loaded with herbs, on the pretext that he did not demand those items and those herbs were dispatched by his counterpart on his own.”
The border remained opened at 10.32 AM to 10. 35 AM and second time from 12.59 AM to 01. 02 PM.
