JSS Kathua students selected for District Championships

KATHUA, May 14: The young, dynamic players of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua scaled newer heights and set benchmarks.
The Students have been selected for the District Championships. Selections in Chess from under-14 Boys include Abhay and Raghav from 8th class and from under-14 girls, Ridhima Gupta from 8th class was selected. In Karate under 14 boys: Tanuj Sharma of class 7th and U-17 kanav of class 9th In Judo U-17 girls: Triambika Sharma and Shruti Bäbbär In Judo U-14 boys: Vipul Yashovardhan Taekwondo U-17 girls: Isha Bharti, Sohani Sambyal, Triambika Sharma, Puneet Kour, Vanshika Sharma and Deepshika Rajput In Taekwondo U-14 & U-17 Boys: Shiv khajuria, Divyansh Singh, Kartik Singh, Vatsla Thappa In Speedball U-14 Boys: Devansh Singh, Ayushman, Bhavesh, Vansh verma and, U-14 Girls: Neelakshi, In Roll Ball Skating U-14 and U-17boys: Mridul Padha , Maruti Nandan , Nakul Khajuria. Principal Mili. R. Sumbria congratulated the worthy efforts of the Sports Fraternity lead by Pushp Thakur along with Monika Sharma (PTI), Ajit(Coach for Skating), Sahil(Coach, Speedball) and Romy(Coach for Chess) Sachin (karate Coach) of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua .
She further reiterated the sports fraternity to always focus on preparing students for such co-curricular activities. She said, since its inception, it has been the dream of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua to make quality education as well as sports education accessible to children of Kathua. It is all due to hard work and dedication of the staff, students and in parallel co-operation of the parents.
