India, Pak trade fire in Poonch

POONCH, May 13: India and Pakistan armies Monday evening traded heavy fire after the latter resorted to unprovoked firing on forward border posts and villages on the Line of Control (LoC) in Gulpur sector of Poonch district.
Official sources said that 41 Baloch troops of Pak army at around 10.00 PM opened unprovoked firing from their forward posts Bakri third and Bakri Main with small weaponry. “Indian troops of 15 MLI after exercising initial restraint retaliated in equal measure from their forward posts Cheeta and Nole,” they added.
“Both sides are using small weapons to target each other,” sources added. Firing continued till last reports poured in.
