Ban on civilian traffic on highway; SC to hear today plea challenging order

SRINAGAR, Apr 21: Supreme Court of India will take up for hearing a plea filed by Awami National Conference senior vice president Muzaffar Ahmad Shah challenging the ban on civilian traffic on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
Talking to KNS Muzaffar Shah confirmed that the case is listed for hearing tomorrow morning before the Chief Justice of India.
The petition has been moved by Muzaffar Shah, the ANC senior vice president under Article 32 of the Jammu and Kashmir constitution seeking a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ for direction and orders pursuing quashing of order of the ministry of home affairs banning the civilian traffic on highway.
