Sheikh Nasir asked PWD improve condition of roads

KISHTWAR, July 21: While showing concern over the deplorable condition of several link roads of Kishtwar including the main Shaheedi road Former District President Youth Congress Sheikh Nasir Hussain has asked the authorities to take steps for making the condition of the roads better.
In a press statement issued here Congress leader has said that the condition of road is becoming worst with every passing day and the authorities of PWD are taking no interest in their improvement resulting in the people are suffering badly. He has said that it is because of the bad condition of the road even after little rains it gets blocked at various places.
He has said that work on various important link road like Gorian to Grid station, Semen bridge to Lanyal and Huller road has been abandoned due to no reasons and these vast areas are still un-connected. Nasir has urged upon the Government to issue directions upon the PWD authorities to execute the repair work of all roads and a dead line be framed for the completion of all under construction link roads. Congress leader has also demanded that besides black topping the walling be also repaired.
Sheikh Nasir has threatened that in case the condition of the roads is not improved the people of the area will be left with no other option than to come on road.
