12-yr old boy’s body found in Rajouri stadium
RAJOURI, Jul 20: The body of a 12-year old boy was found in suspicious circumstances at an isolated place inside the sport stadium here Saturday morning.

The deceased boy has been identified as Mohammed Asif, son of Mohammed Sadiq, a resident of Kheora in the vicinity of Rajouri city.

The sources disclosed that the boy had some wounds on the head. “It looked that he was strangulated somewhere else and the body was thrown in the stadium,” the sources said.

“After legal formalities and autopsy the body has been handed over to the family. A case under Section 302 RPC (murder) has been registered after the written complaint by the family members. Some visitors to the under construction sports stadium rang up to the police about the body of a boy lying under the stairs in an open place. On getting the information, SSP Mubassir Latifi along with SHO and a police team rushed to the spot. After legal formalities and collecting evidences from the spot the body was taken to the hospital for autopsy,” the sources added.

Sources further informed that some marks were found on the private parts of the minor boy, who was suspected to be sodomized before being strangulated. The doctors, who conducted postmortem of the boy, also believed that he had gone through an unnatural act. However they added that the result of postmortem would only confirm it.
