One-way traffic continues on Highway

SRINAGAR, Feb 19: One-way traffic continued on Srinagar-Jammu highway today also with hundreds of vehicles leaving Kashmir for Jammu.
However, Leh-Srinagar highway, connecting Ladakh region with the valley, and historic Mughal road remained closed for traffic due to the accumulation of several feet of snow.
Hundreds of vehicles, including those carrying passengers, left from different parts of Kashmir valley for Jammu on the highway early morning, a traffic official said.
He said both light motor vehicles and heavy motor vehicles were allowed to ply on the highway with some restrictions.
He said vehicles were not allowed from the opposite direction.
