Minor gang raped in Rajouri
Referred to GMC hospital Jammu in critical condition
RAJOURI, Jul 17: A minor student of class 9th was allegedly gang raped here on Wednesday by three persons, who left her in critical condition in the district hospital Rajouri after committing the crime.

The girl from Darhal Chowkian had come to Rajouri to visit Shahdhara Sharief but on the way she was made to sit in a Sumo. The Sumo driver took her to an isolated place and repeatedly raped her. He then called his two friends and they also raped her for more than six hours. After committing the crime, the driver and his friends left the girl, who was bleeding profusely, in critical condition in district hospital Rajouri hospital and went absconding.

The victim, while talking to KTNS, stated that they had raped her many times. The mother of the victim told that her husband had two wives and she along with her six daughters was living alone at some other place.

The doctors attending upon her told KTNS that she had multiple injuries inside her abdomen area and it could not be detected in Rajouri so she was referred to GMC hospital Jammu for specialised treatment.

Police registered a case in this connection but no one could be arrested so far as the minor victim could not give their identity to police.

SHO Rajouri, when contacted, told KTNS that police registered a case under Section 376 but no one had so far been arrested.
