Newly married couple dies in road accident

SRINAGAR, Dec 7: A newly married couple died in a road accident in Pattan area today.
The couple got married seven days back.
The deceased were identified as Muzzafar Ahmad Khan and his wife Aisha, residents of Singhpora Pattan.
Reports said they were travelling on a motorcycle and it was hit by a speedy car at around 3.30 PM.
The couple was immediately shifted to sub district hospital Pattan where doctors declared them dead on arrival. “We have not arrested anyone so far but lodged an FIR under no. 223/2018 and started investigation,” police said.
