Makosinski's Nobel!
By S Mukhtar

"Yes dear."

"Makosinski much in news…what is it?"

"Dear, not it, it is a she. She is Ann Makosinski, a 15-year-old high school girl from Victoria, British Columbia. She has been interested in harvesting unused energy in the surrounding environment. She has made a wonderful appliance, - just hold that in your hand - instantly it becomes a flashlight - for 20 minutes - powered by your own body heat - no battery no charging needed! All free!"

"Uncle, - Makosinski: Zindabad! And the price of a piece…must be unbearable?"

"No; she made a piece for $26. Manufactured, it will be far down."

"Uncle, dear Makosinski deserves a Nobel. Doesn't she?"

"This very September, Makosinski is going to Mountain View (California) for a prize ceremony. Google then will choose one winner each out of three age groups, and from those winners choose the final winner. That final winner will receive a grand prize of $50,000 and a trip to the Galapagos Islands. Looks, dear, Makosinski will be that final winner."

"Yes son."

"Heat energy flowing out from a human hand, as converted into light energy, runs a flashlight - for 20 minutes, and…"

"No, not for 20 minutes strictly…but for more time in colder countries."

"Right. Say Sir Uncle, all the heat energy flowing out from a living human if so converted, how much of light energy will we have?"

"Who knows!"

"Must be a very good amount."

"Must be."

"And so Sir Uncle, wild goes my mind and heart. Do kindly request Makosinski the Great to trap and utilize the human heat energy flowing forth not just from a hand but from the entire body."

"How possible but?"

"From the hand: possible; from the whole body: impossible; Uncle, say why?"

"I know no whys here."

"Good Uncle, I beg of all Makosinskis around to invent that all-body heat-trapping/heat-to-electricity device: Ann Makosinski's is just the lighthouse."

"Dear, why that eager but?"

"Sir Uncle; too, too eager I am, yes I must be, all Kashmiris must be, no escaping that, yes. Each and every Kashmiri must pray for the coming of the device, readily buy it, wear it, even shamelessly, and so individually become truly self-sufficient in power. That seems our only way of dealing with lightless nights and powerless days. And that should get Makosinski a Nobel!"
