3 securitymen injured in 2 attacks in Kakapora

SRINAGAR, Nov 18: Three security men were injured in two different attacks at Kakapora in Pulwama this evening.
Reports said two army soldiers were wounded in a shootout with the militants in Larve area of Kakapora this evening.
An ambush was laid by a joint team of army and SOG in Larve.
“In the meantime, a group militants passing through the area had a stand off with the forces,” said the report, adding that two soldiers were wounded in the firing exchange.
Both the injured soldiers were shifted to a hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.
Earlier, militants attacked a security camp at Kakapora railway station. CRPF man was critically injured and removed to hospital. A news agency report said he succumbed to his injuries in hospital but it was not confirmed officially.
