Geelani bereaved

SRINAGAR, Nov 13: Ghulam Hassan Makhdoomi, son-in-law of Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani passed away at SKIMS Soura today after a prolonged illness.
Reports said 65-year old Makhdoomi a resident of Dooru Sopore was not keeping well from some time.
He was suffering from cancer in the abdomen and was being treated for last more than one year. He was admitted to SKIMS for more than a fortnight where he died of pneumonia, reports said.
Husband of Geelani’s eldest daughter, Shafeeqa, Mukhdoomi is survived by two sons and two daughters.
Hurriyat Conference (G) has condoled the death of Mukhdoomi and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
