Govt-decision to celebrate 75th anniversary of Azad Hind Fauz
Kashmir Times. Dated: 10/22/2018 3:02:26 PM
Dear Editor,
It refers to welcome government-decision of celebrating 75th anniversary of Azad Hind Fauz on 21.10.2018 in a big way by issuing of commemorative coins and steps apart from Prime Minister himself being key-person attending ceremonies on the occasion, when Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was on 21.10.1943 was declared first Prime Minister of the country with eleven nations having recognised Netaji-led Indian government. It is time that history-books with deliberate incomplete knowledge were written for glorification of Nehru-Gandhi family deliberately avoiding role of martyred freedom-fighters. India got independence only because of war launched by Azad Hind Fauz which resulted in killing of thousands of army-persons of Britain and USA.
History-books should be corrected by recognising Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as first Prime Minister of India who had a full cabinet with himself holding ministries of Defence and External Affairs apart from being Prime Minister. Any demand for Bharat Ratna lowers his dignity because several undeserving persons including self-gifting ones have dented real value of Bharat Ratna.
