Grenade attacks on army camp, police station in north Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Sep 11: Militants carried grenade attacks on an army camp and police station in north Kashmir today.
Reports said that militants fired two rifle grenades at an army camp in downtown Sopore. However, there was no immediate report of any damage or casualties.
The grenades were fired at the army camp housing 22 Rashtriya Rifles.
Soon after the attack, forces cordoned off the entire Batpora area to nab the attackers.
Militants this evening lobbed a grenade at police station Pattan. However, there was no report of any injury.
Reports said that the grenade was hurled at police station Pattan that exploded with a bang.
