Sri Lankan sports minister to witness the Asia Cup final

MUMBAI, Sep 10: Sri Lanka's sports minister Faizan Mustafa will be in Dubai to witness the Asia Cup final, it is learnt here.
According to the sources in Sri Lanka, the hon. sports minister will witness the Asia Cup final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 28th September irrespective of any two finalist teams.
Kamal Pathamasiri, the Competent Authority appointed to supervise the day to day affairs of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board is likely to be present there during the Super Four matches. He, however, may not remain present till the final.
The sports minister is scheduled to return from his personal overseas tour on Monday and will announce the remaining members of the Management Committee (as directed by the ICC) soon.
TV broadcasters have hired the former cricketers from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan to air the commentary and accordingly, Kumar Sangakkara and Russel Arnold will be doing commentary for the Sri Lanka matches.
Australia's Brett Lee and Dean Jones (he coached Afghanistan team for a short period), and England's Kevin Pietersen have been hired as neutral commentators.
Other commentators are : Sunil Gavaskar, L. Sivaramakrishnan / Zaheer Khan (India), Rameez Raja, Aamer Sohail (Pakistan), Athar Ali (Bangladrsh)
