Disgruntled Javaid attends PDP meeting

SRINAGAR, Sep 10: Disgruntled PDP legislator from Baramulla Javaid Hussain Beigh today attended a party meeting here.
PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti chaired a meeting of senior party functionaries and legislators at her Gupkar based official residence here.
The meeting was called to decide about participation of PDP in the local body elections. Barring three MLAs and two MLCs, all legislators including Javaid Hussain Beigh, were present in the meeting.
Those who did not participate in the meeting included Imran Raza Ansari, Abid Ansari, Abdul Majeed Paddar, Yasir Reshi and Saifudin Bhat.
Beigh supported some rebellious party leaders after the fall of Mehbooba Mufti led Jammu and Kashmir government.
While talking to media, Beigh said that he has sorted out all the difference with party president Mehbooba Mufti. “A week back I met Mehbooba Mufti. We sorted out all the differences and now I have no complaints against her,” Beigh said and added that all the disgruntled leaders of PDP will hold a meeting with Mehbooba Mufti in the coming days.
