'Healthy India Stronger India' organises Jammu Darshan

JAMMU, Aug 9: : Healthy India Stronger India (HISI) organised a free educational tour of Jammu City, for its students.
The troupe of 20 students along with the executive members of HISI was flagged off by Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman Healthy India Stronger India, from Indira Chowk. First destination of the program was the ‘Hari Niwas Palace'. Here the children admired the heritage associated with the grandeur of this royal place.
They were mesmerized to see the museum and enjoyed scenic bounties from the park of ‘Amar Mahal'. Healthy India Stronger India upholds secular values and it trains students irrespective of their castes and religions. Sole objective at this NGO is ‘Development for all'. The tour then moved to ‘Shiv Temple-Peerkho' were they all prayed to the almighty to bestow happiness to all beings. Third halt of the tour was at the sacred ‘Gurudwara-Chand Nagar', children sought blessings at this divine place.
Next stop of the group was at the famous ‘Peer Baba-Satwari' where they all worshipped and learned about the importance of this sacred place. Thereafter the tour reached the ‘Gandhi Nagar-Church', here the excited students and executive members of HISI prayed by lighting the candles of hope. Finally the tour concluded at 'Shree Sai Dham Gandhi Nagar'.
Objective of this endeavor was to appeal to the people of J&K to live in harmony and to respect all religions and faiths. All members of the excursion prayed and pleaded to the lords of these respective places to bestow peace and prosperity to the state of J & K and help us all to come out of the turmoil that we all are going through. Healthy India Stronger India is an NGO founded by its Chairman Hira Lal Abrol. This NGO is running a ‘Free Training Centre' for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families. The training centre offers 3 months, free courses in Basic Computers; Cutting & Tailoring Classes; Beautician Course as well as Free Library for the students. Nearly 500 students have passed out, after successful completion of courses from this centre.
They have been placed in various organizations and some of them have even started their own ventures. They are earning a livelihood for their families and are living a respectable life in society. In addition to training in skill development, HISI equips its students with moral values and life skills. The students are motivated to live a healthy life and to stay away from tobacco and drugs. HISI has the vision to uplift the place of women in the society and make them self-reliant.
Girls and women trainees of the NGO have recently been trained in ‘Self Defence'. Children expressed their happiness over the conduct of this trip and thanked the members of HISI for their philanthropic and visionary approach in conducting this kind of exclusive program. They promised to uphold the sanctity of the secular values in the interest of nation building.
