Nagasaki Day!

Year: 1945. Month: August. Date: 9. One US Boeing B-29 bomber Bock's Car over Nagasaki of Japan! Oh oho dropped an atom bomb! The drop was planned on August 11: anticipated bad weather had it done on August 9.
O only three days earlier, O oh another US atom bomb had been down upon Hiroshima!
Nagasaki casualties too fearful oh: anywhere between 60,000 and 80,000 dead and countless disabled on the entirely devastated city: this when the explosion's force of 22,000 tons of TNT was largely contained by the surrounding hills.
And thereupon oh third nuclear bomb down upon Japan feared by August 17 or 18 following: happened not, simply because the Emperor of Japan then had permitted the sought unconditional surrender.
These attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima were the first ever use of nukes in war.
May Great God these be the last ever too!
But alas facts point otherwise!
Back in 1907, Laws of War: Laws and Customs of War on Land (Article 25 of the Hague IV Convention) openly stated that "The attack or bombardment, by whatever means, of towns, villages, dwellings, or buildings which are undefended is prohibited."
In 1945 the Nuremberg Principles very clearly forbade indiscriminate killing, wanton devastation of cities towns villages, in fact all crimes against any civilian population, before or during any war.
And then in 1970 the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), most nations signing it, came into effect. Agreed hereby it was that the spread of nukes shall be prevented and the existing totally eliminated. Since but lo the number of nations with nukes has nearly doubled!
What hope remains? Oh, oh the elimination of nukes seems an all fools' dream! And nukes not eliminated, humanity nay all life forms one day will be, and then angels alone will talk of the winners and the losers.
Yes, it is here where the general masses have but to act. May all peoples of all countries, of all religions, of all faiths, of all isms, of all ideologies, rise up as ONE HUMANITY and strive hardest for the total elimination of all nuclear nay all weapons from the bosom of our dear Mother Earth. That is the universal message from all war tragedies and most so from Hiroshima and Nagasaki. May the eye opener for all humanity…oh now practically gone half blind… be every Hiroshima Day and every Nagasaki Day!
