One injured in firing on protestors in Kupwara

SRINAGAR, Aug 2: One person was injured in firing allegedly by security forces on protestors in Lolab in Kupwara.
Army told media that they fired some warning shots in air.
Reports said the protestors were carrying body of slain militant Bilal Ahmad Shah.They were on their way to Shatmuqam when forces opened fire upon them near Krusun village of Lolab valley.
A , civilian, 55-year-old Mohammad Jamal Tantray was injured. Tantray received two bullets in left arm and abdomen. The injured was removed to the nearby hospital for treatment.
BMO, Sogam Dr Firdous Ahmad told media that a middle-aged man with two bullet injuries was brought to the hospital for treatment.
Earlier in the day, Shah and another Hizb militant Zahoor Ahmad were killed at Khumriyal area in a brief encounter with the forces.
