Tral returns to normal

SRINAGAR, July 6 :After remaining shut for five consecutive days against the killing of three local militants, Tral township south Kashmir today limped back to normal.
3 Hizbul Mujahideen militants, Shahnawaz Ahmad Mir, Ajaz Ahmad Laway and Shabir Ahmad Laway of three neighboring villages were killed on Monday last in an encounter between with government forces. A police man was also killed in the gunfight and two CRPF men injured.
After the killing of the three militants complete shutdown was observed in Tral and its peripheries for the five consecutive days to mourn their death. However after five days of strike, life returned to normal in the town today. Shops, business establishments, private and government offices and educational institutions reopened in the township today. Both passenger and the private transport was also back to the roads after remaining off for five days.
