Summer vacations in schools from July 19

SRINAGAR, Jul 19: The state government today announced summer break for all government and recognised private schools from July 19 (Thursday) in Kashmir division and winter zone of Jammu.
According to an order issued today, all government schools and recognised private schools up to higher secondary level in Kashmir and winter zone of Jammu division shall remain closed from July 19.
The schools, according to the order, will re-open on July 30 (Monday).
Earlier, the government had announced summer vacation for schools from July 2. However, the vacations were deferred due to the incessant rains.
