Badminton Championship for College Girls commences at Bhaderwah Campus

BHADERWAH, Jul 10: As a part of ongoing process for inculcating sports sports activities among of Bhaderwah and its adjoining areas, 4 Rashtryia Rifles camped at Bhaderwah organized badminton championship for College Girls which commenced today at Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu.

The three days badminton championship was inaugurated by Prof. Vinod Sharma , Director Poonch Campus in the presence of civil administration, teaching , non-teaching staff and students of Bhaderwah Campus.

Total of 36 girls will participate in both singles and doubles matches. A large numbers of girls students of Bhaderwah Campus, Govt. Degree College Bhaderwah and Girls Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah were present throughout the matches cheering up their players. The final will be played on July 13th , 2018.

Prof. Vinod Sharma in his address appreciated the efforts of Rector Bhaderwah Campus Prof, GM Bhat and 4 RR for promoting and organizing such events. He said that these events will help in winning goodwill of locals and will also promote sports activities in the region and further facilitating youth empowerment.
