Inter School sports tourney takes off at GGHSS Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, Jul 10: Inter school tournament for U/19 girls took off today here at Government Girls Higher Secondary School.
With participation of around 159 girls drawn from various Higher Secondary Schools, the event will witness contests in Volleyball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, Chess, Badminton, Carrom etc.
The tournament, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSSO) Doda, was inaugurated by Principal HSS Girls Bhaderwah Annie Kotwal.
First round matches of almost all the games viz. Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho Kho, chess, carrom, badminton etc were held after inauguration and the finals will be played tomorrow.
Various officials of the department of Youth Services and Sports Doda were engaged for the smooth conduct of the tournament.
