`Humsafar’ between Sealdah-Jammu begins regular commercial run today

JAMMU/LUDHIANA, Jul 8(Agencies): The newly-introduced Humsafar Weekly AC Express Train between Jammu Tawi and Sealdah would commence its regular commercial run tomorrow from Sealdah.
New Humsafar weekly train would be yet another step by the railways to provide comfortable travel facility to passengers from northern states to various destinations in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal as well as pilgrim and other travellers from these states to Jammu for the pilgrimage to holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.
According to railway officials, the 22317 Sealdah-Jammu Tawi Humsafar Weekly train would leave Sealdah on every Monday at 1.10 PM and arrive Jammu Tawi the next day at 11.30 PM. In the return direction, the 22318 Jammu Tawi-Sealdah train would leave Jammu Tawi on every Wednesday at 7.25 AM and reach Sealdah the next day at 5.45 PM.
The new Humsafar weekly train would have a 10 minute stoppage at Ludhiana railway station, while running in both directions. Railway officials said the train would have commercial halts at Ludhiana, Ambala Cantonment, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow Charbagh, Varanasi, Mughalsarai, Gaya, Dhanbad and Asansol.
