Raina appointed BJP state president

‘Will meet PM, Shah today’

SRINAGAR, May 13: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday appointed Ravinder Raina as party’s new state president in Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that BJP high command has taken the decision to appoint Raina as its state president.
Raina, MLA Nowshera, has replaced Sat Sharma, who was made minister in the recent cabinet reshuffle.
Raina while talking to media said that he is scheduled to meet prime minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah to discuss the organizational affairs, working of the PDP-BJP coalition government and prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow.
Raina said he will work for the accomplishment of the vision and mission of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
“My priority will be the accomplishment of the vision and mission of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. I will work for the religious brotherhood, regional harmony, equitable regional development and a prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.”
