Poonch LoC firing victim’s kin provided Rs One lakh ex-gratia

POONCH, May 12: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Mohammed Aijaz Asad today handed over ex-gratia of Rs one lakh to the Next of the Kin (NoK) of the youth who lost his life in cross LoC shelling on Friday.

The 22-year old Mohammed Ikhlaq, son of Mohammed Sadeeq resident of Kalsan Malti Baghal Dhara was killed by bullet injury during ceasefire violation in Gulpur-Bhagyal Dhara belt in Degwar sector.

The DC along with ADC Dr Basharat Hussain, tehsildar and other revenue officials met bereaved family and expressed condolence over the death of Mohammed Ikhlaq.
