Sainik School Nagrota lifts U-17,14 Basketball Championships
JAMMU, May 10: Inter School District Level tournament for Boys in the sports discipline of Basketball, throwball, Net ball under the age group of 14 and 17 for the year 2018-19 of District Jammu was concluded today here at Indoor Complex M.A stadium and Dogra Ground Jammu.

Sainik School Nagrota lifts U/17, U/14 Basketball Championship . In all 457 Boys were drawn across from 14 Zones of Jammu District took part in the competitions.

The competitions were organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports under the patronage of Sh. Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad , KAS, Director General, Youth Services & Sports and under the overall supervision of Sh. Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu. While Smt. Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu was the organising Secretary of the said tournament.

The main objective of the competitions was to select the teams of Jammu District for the next level of competitions i.e Inter District, Division Level Competitions.

The details : Basketball U-14: Semi Final, APS Sunjwan beats Heritage Public School by 18-05 points.

Sainik School Nagrota beats JK Public School by 24-02 points. Sainik School Nagrota beats APS Sunjwan by 34-33 points

Basketball U-17: Semi final : APS Ratnu Chak beats Jodhamal Public School by 33-13 points. Sainik School Nagrota beats APS Domana by 30-05 points. Final : Sainik School Nagrota beats APS Ratnu Chak by 46-35 points.

Net Ball U-17 Boys: DPS Beat Oriental Academy by 03 points. KC International beat St. Peters by 02 points. Semi Final: DPS beat Vidya Mandir by 02 points. KC International beat K.C Public School by 03 points. Final : KC International beat DPS by 01 point.

Throwball Ball U-17 Boys: Final, KC International beats GD Goenka Pub. School.
