Govt HS Pull Tawi lifts Inter School District Level Handball championship
JAMMU, May 9: Govt HS Pull Tawi lifted Boys U/17 Handball Inter School District Level championship of District Jammu played at Dogra Ground Shastri Nagar today

In all 457 Boys drawn across from 14 Zones of Jammu District took part in the competitions.

The competitions were organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports under the patronage of Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad , KAS, Director General, Youth Services & Sports and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu. While Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the organising Secretary of the tournament.

The main objective of the competitions is to select the teams of Jammu District for the next level of competitions i.e Inter District, Division Level Competitions.

The details: U-17 Boys Basketball: APS RatnuChak beats APS Jammu Cantt by 26-04 points. MHAC beats KC International by 13-11 points. APS Domana beats St. Pters Hs Jammu by 30-02 points. JK Public School Kunjwani beats SOS by 14-11 points. Quarter Match: Sainik School Nagrota beats St. Francis Akhnoor by 31-07 points

U-14 Boys Basketball: Heritage Jammu beats Wazir Janki Nath School by 14-00 points. heritage Jammu beats MIER Jammu by 12-00 points. APS Sunjwan beat APS Ratnu Chak by 22-06 points. JK public Kunjwani beat Jodha Mal Public School by 21-04 points. Sainik School Nagrota beat St. Francis Akhnoor by 17-02 points.

U-17 Boys Throw ball: KC International beat GD Goenika by 21-09 points & 21-18 points (02 Sets).

U-17 Boys Soft ball :Govt HSS Pargwal beat Govt HS Badyal Qazian by 06-00 runs. Govt HSS Jhiri beats Govt HS Badyal Qazian by 03-02 runs.

U-17 Boys Handball: Final: Govt. HS, Pull Tawi beat Tagore Memorial HSS, by 07 goals.

Bupinder, Navin and Vikas of HS Pull Tawi scored 6-4 and 3 goals respectively while Subam Gupta of Tagore Memorial HSS remained top score with 5 goals

Matches were officiated by Penal of Experts in respective events from Department of Youth Services & Sports J&K Jammu.

The Semi Finals & Final matches in Basket ball & Throw ball shall be play tomorrow at the same venue.
