Buddha Amarnath yatra from Aug 1

JAMMU, July 2 : The Annual Buddha Amarnath yatra is going to start August 1.
This year’s Yatra is being conducted from August 1 to 12.
Inauguration of the yatra will be held in Bhagwati Nagar on August1, thereafter 1st batch of yatra will leave on August 2 at 4:30 a.m. The Yatra will leave from Jammu to Shiv Khori to Sunderbani to Rajouri to Poonch, with night stay at Poonch. Next day yatra will leave from Poonch at 5 a.m. to Buddha Amarnath (Rajpura Mandi) to Rajouri to Akhnoor. At Akhnoor there will “Aarti” at Chander Bhaga at 7 p.m. and after having dinner at Akhnoor will come back to Jammu. The last batch of yatra will leave Jammu on 11th of August.
Manoj Verma, the central level office bearer will be the overall in charge of this yatra. VHP ,Bajrang Dal appeale people participate in this Yatra during the above said period.
