Put Cong leaders behind bars if involved: Azad

JAMMU, Apr 13: Commenting on the controversy surrounding the rape and murder of eight-year-old girl Asifa of Kathua, the leader of opposition, in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad has said that if any Congress leaders are involved in defense of rapist, he or she should be put behind bars.
“If any of the Congress leaders is involved in defense of rapist he should also be jailed,” Azad said.
The Kathua rape and murder case has created huge controversy in the country as opposition, film starts, cricketers and social activists are demanding justice for the eight-year-old Asifa Bano.
On 10 January, Asifa was brutally raped and then murder inside a temple in Kathua by a group local Hindus.
