`Mere sacking not to redeem PDP’s sins’

JAMMU, Mar 13: National Conference working president and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday took another potshot at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for its new Finance Minister Altaf Bukhari’s decision to put Pay and Accounts Office (PAO) system in abeyance, asking if there was more to Haseeb Drabu’s dismissal than just his speech.
“First decision of the new Finance Minister is to reverse a reform his Govt had bragged about,” Omar wrote on Twitter. “Is there more to Haseeb’s dismissal than just his speech?” he asked in his another tweet.
While reacting to the ouster of Drabu from the cabinet, Omar also said that sacking the architect of the BJP-PDP alliance would not redeem the PDP for the sins.
“Simply sacking the architect of the BJP-PDP alliance & co-author of the agenda of alliance will not redeem the PDP for the sins of the last 3 years,” Omar wrote on Twitter.
Omar said that the first decision of the new Finance Minister was a reversal of reforms. This was the first reaction to the first decision of the new incumbent in finance ministry after Dr Haseeb Drabu’s sacking 24 hours earlier.
