J&K people urged to maintain communal harmony
JAMMU, Mar 11: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice Sunday appealed to the people of J&K state in general and the people of Kashmir in particular for maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood at all cost

They stated that there were “such elements in the state bent upon provoking the innocent people for their vested interests in Kashmir while their own children are living and studying outside the state and enjoying a luxurious life there without caring for the poor people of the Kashmir. These vested interests are throwing poor innocent youth in jaws of death by misleading them and prompting them to resort to stone pelting as a result of which a large number of innocent youths and security personnel have died so for.” The few opportunists of both the regions have been prospering well but the poor were & are alwa The Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice also expressed concern over the loss of precious lives of the poor people of Kashmir and security personnel in these unfortunate incidents.

“The main reason behind this unrest in the valley is that the qualified poor youth of the valley in particular have always been ignored by the corrupt successive governments and these governments have bitterly failed to address their grievances and taking action for providing them livelihood,” they said.

“The PDP-BJP is following the same path of nepotism and favouritism like the previous governments,” they said.
