Gandhi to participate in ‘ALVA's Varna Virasat 2018’

JAMMU, Jan 5: ALVA's Education Foundation to organise a national art camp ‘ALVA's Varna Virasat 2018’ from January 9 - 14, 2018.

K K Gandhi has been conferred upon the distinction of not only being the chief guest but also part of National conferring ceremony, in which Shoba Brutta, a senior artist of International repute is being bestowed upon the most distinguished National Award.

The said camp is being organized by ALVA's Education Foundation established in the year 1998, which offers a wide range of Graduate and Post Graduate programmes including Bachelor of Visual Art and providing a caring environment in the field of Visual and Performing Art.

The camp is to be held at Vidyagiri, Moodbidre, Mangalore (Karnataka)in which twenty artists of national and international repute are going to participate in the event and Gandhi gets the honour of being the only artist from northern part of the India.

Gandhi had already been honoured with very prestigious and rare awards on many occasions earlier such as Jaipur International Art Festival 2013, Shimla International Art Festival 2015, 3rd International Film Festival at Delhi and 5th Asiad Literary Excellent Award in 2017 at Chandigarh.
