Implement 7th CPC, release DA installment soon

Dear Editor,
I am a regular reader of Kashmir Times. I have gone through a news item in the news paper of 30th November relating to the demand for the implementation of 7th CPC’s recommendations in respect of employees and pensioners of J&K state and release of DA installment due from July 2017 raised by the All J&K State Low Paid Employees Federation. The federation has rightly expressed resentment against inordinate delay being caused by the state government in meeting these demands. These demands are urgent, just and genuine. Besides these demands, there is yet another long outstanding demand for raising medical allowance from existing paltry rate of Rs. 300 to at least Rs. 1000 in view of steep rise in Medicare expenses.
There is dire need of the hour to concede these demands immediately in order to relieve the employees and pensioners from undue fiscal hardships.
