Gunmen loot cash from Noorpora bank

SRINAGAR, Dec 4: Unidentified gunmen today looted about Rs one lakh in cash from J&K Bank at Noorpora in Tral.
Police said three militants entered into the bank and looted the cash. They fired several rounds in air and also damaged some computers. The incident occurred around 2.10 PM.
A police officer said the security guard of the bank was having his lunch when the gunmen entered the bank. He added that the main gate of the bank was open when the incident occurred.
According to him, police is analysing the CCTV footage. He claimed that preliminary investigations indicate that Ansar Gazwatul Hind Kashmir chief Zakir Musa and his two associates were involved in the incident.
Reports said, police and security forces established nakas on Tral-Awantipora road to nab gunmen. Search operation was also started in the area.
Vehicles on Tral-Awantipora road were stopped for checking.
