Pakharpora shuts for 2nd day
SRINAGAR, Dec 2: A shutdown was observed in Pakharpora and its adjoining areas in Budgam district for the second consecutive day today over the killings of militants.

Five militants were killed in a fierce gun fight between security forces and militants at Futlipora Pakharpora village on Wednesday morning.

Reports said shops and other business establishments remained shut while transport was off the roads.

Besides Pakharpora, shutdown was also observed in Thokarpora, Kamrazipora, Dalpora and other areas.
