One held, 16 bovines rescued in Poonch

POONCH, Nov 12: Poonch police Sunday rescued 16 bovines and arrested one bovine smuggler.
According to police, continuing its drive against the bovine smuggling , Today on directions of SSP POONCH Rajiv Pandey a police party led by SHO Anzir Mir under supervision of DySP Asgar Malik KPS established a naka at Jogi More,during checking 03 vehicles bearing Reg.No.jk12/9963,Jk012/9612& jk12A/4945 got intercepted and on search it has been found that all the vehicle's were loaded with bovines & were carrying these bovines without permission, all the said vehicles have been seized.
The accused person namely Javed Iqbal S/O Mohd Sadiq R/O Mendher have been arrested, In this regard Case FIR NO 282/17,283/17,284/17 U/S 188RPC,3PC act stand registered against the accused person at P/S skt & investigation taken up.
