SRINAGAR, May 10: Police today said threat posters by the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen outfit asking parents to keep youths away from functions of the army and other forces were "irrelevant".
Posters, purportedly belonging to Hizb ul Mujahideen, were seen pasted at many places today in south Kashmir's Tral town that asked parents not to send their boys and girls to sports, cultural and other programmes sponsored by the army, police and other forces.
Director General of police (DGP) S.P. Vaid said here,"This is not the first time that such threat posters have appeared. These are irrelevant and have no impact."
